Frozen prediction
A prediction published and locked before the race starts, so it cannot be edited once the result is known.
RaceModel freezes every race prediction before the session begins. The frozen version is the one that gets scored afterwards, and the one that stays on the race page. If the model is retrained later, the retrained version can be shown alongside it, but the frozen call is never overwritten.
This matters because a prediction that can be adjusted after the fact is not evidence of anything. The freeze is what turns the accuracy ledger into a record of calls actually made in advance.
