Bortoleto drops 60 grid places for using extra power unit parts in Austin

Gabriel Bortoleto will start Sunday's United States Grand Prix from the back of the grid after the stewards confirmed a 60 place grid penalty for using extra power unit elements. The Audi driver fitted a fifth engine, turbocharger, exhaust, energy store and control electronics unit, plus a fourth MGU-K, during the weekend, each carrying its own grid drop under FIA rules. The decision is FIA document 35.
