Audi fined again as Slater's car ran with a cooling fan still attached

The stewards fined Audi Revolut F1 Team 7,500 euros after Freddie Slater's car was released from the garage in first practice with a cooling fan still attached to the right radiator intake. The team said engineers believed it was safe to continue before calling the driver in, and the stewards said they applied a penalty similar to one given to a car in Australia earlier this year after a fan came loose.
