Bottas handed a 50 place grid drop for Cadillac after new engine components

The stewards gave Valtteri Bottas a 50 place grid penalty for the next race in which he competes, after Cadillac fitted a fifth engine, fifth turbocharger, fourth energy store, fourth control electronics unit and fourth MGU-K. The penalty exceeds the size of the grid, so Bottas will start from the back under Article B2.5.4b.iv if he is classified in qualifying.
