IndyCar 2027 calendar to be released in phases

RACER reported on July 23 that IndyCar plans to release its 2027 schedule in multiple phases, with Penske Corporation President Bud Denker confirming several venues are already confirmed: St. Petersburg (moved one week later to March 5 to 7), Arlington, Detroit and the Indianapolis 500. A return to Phoenix Raceway with NASCAR is under discussion pending NASCAR's calendar release. Remaining dates and venues, potentially including an international round, will follow in subsequent announcements.
