NASCAR Clash returning to Daytona oval in 2027

Multiple industry sources confirmed to The Athletic on July 24, 2026 that the NASCAR Clash preseason exhibition race will return to the Daytona International Speedway 2.5-mile oval in 2027, ending a six-year absence from the venue. The race is reportedly scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2027, the day before Super Bowl LXI and eight days before the 2027 Daytona 500 on February 21. The Clash last ran on Daytona's oval in 2020, before moving to the infield road course in 2021, the LA Coliseum (2022-2024), and Bowman Gray Stadium (2025-2026). An official NASCAR announcement is expected within weeks.
