Verstappen cleared after passing Hamilton under yellow flags in sprint qualifying

The stewards looked at Max Verstappen overtaking Lewis Hamilton at Turn 8 under a single yellow flag in Singapore sprint qualifying and decided not to apply a penalty. FIA document 29 says Verstappen lifted off the throttle within about 40 metres of the yellow flag and was already braking when he went past Hamilton, who had slowed to under 60 km per hour.
