Sepang returns to F1 after nine years for the relocated Bahrain Grand Prix

Sepang International Circuit last held a round of the world championship in 2017 and is back on the calendar this weekend as the venue for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, after the original Bahrain date was dropped. Sebastian Vettel won here four times between 2010 and 2015, and Ferrari has the most wins at the track with seven. The outright lap record of 1:34.080 has stood since Vettel set it in the final Malaysian Grand Prix in 2017.
