RFK confirms Preece for 2027, charter still unresolved

RFK Racing co-owner Brad Keselowski confirmed on July 25, 2026, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway that the team has exercised the option in Ryan Preece's multiyear contract, securing the 35-year-old driver for the No. 60 Ford in the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series season. The announcement was made ahead of the Brickyard 400. The team's current charter for the No. 60 entry is leased from Rick Ware Racing and is set to return to Legacy Motor Club after the 2026 season, leaving RFK Racing's three-car lineup for 2027 without a confirmed third charter.
